Ticket Giveaway for Houston Bash (this Saturday)
Named one of THE “Not-To-Be-Missed Parties” of 2010, the adults-only, costume-mandated, celebration will be held at the Corinthian from 8:00 P.M. to 1:00 A.M. this Saturday, October 29, and is hosted by Mark and Newie Brinker, with all proceeds benefiting Easter Seals Greater Houston.
Tickets are $150 in advance, $200 at the door BUT not if you win:)

Original Penguin Comes to the Galleria!
The Original Penguin has waddled over to the Galleria! You may recognize the brand from their signature men's penguin golf shirts, but did you know they have chic line of women's clothing too? It's cozy, sassy, and makes me look forward to winter:) The galleria opening marks the brands second full-price store since 2009, and marks the kick-off to Original Penguin’s retail roll out with a whopping seven retail openings this year.

Such exciting news! Two of my absolute favorite fabulous Htown ladies, Elaine Turner and Chloe Dao are teaming up for Houston Fashion Week!
Acclaimed handbag and shoe designer Elaine Turner will collaborate with clothing designer Chloe Dao, for a to-die-for runway presentation October 12 during Houston Fashion Week. Best known for her beloved boutique LOT 8 and as the winner of Project Runway Season Two, Chloe Dao designs clothing for the woman with effortless style and modern sensibility. This concept combined with Elaine Turner’s design style of chic escapism and sophistication will have Houston Fashion Week attendees swooning!:) The show will debut both Elaine & Chloe's spring 2012 collection.

Napoleon Perdis returns to Htown this weekend!
Two years ago, the celebrity makeup artist Napoleon Perdis visited Houston to introduce his brand spankin' new Target collaboration NP Set. NP Set is for time-pressed, style-savvy women who seek glamour in a nanosecond...wait..that's me! I'm also a bit makeup challenged, so I was thrilled to receive a little makeup lesson from him (above) while he was here last time. To this very day, I obsessively rely on my NP Set palettes Denim Set, Sweater Set, AND Career Set. Oh and his primers, forget it. They are amazing. Seriously. If I was stranded on a desert island, and I could only have 3 things...well...I'd probably want water, but I'd seriously consider my NP Set palettes.
So guess what my chic friends, Napoleon is coming back to town!!
This weekend, Oct. 8 & 9 Napoleon will take over Houston area Target parking lots, with beauty makeover stations to offer guests touch-ups, styling tips, and the latest info on must-have products. If the makeup hasn't already lured you in, just go to meet Napoleon. He is an absolute trip, and I secretly want him to live in my pocket to keep me entertained whenever I need a good laugh.
