Footloose Fundraiser this Weekend!

Where the pink is pretty, the dancing is dirty and the foot runs loose!

Charity Chicks Houston is pretty fashion-forward with the newest trends and technology. But not on Saturday, June 12th as they take you back to the 80's for FOOTLOOSE.

Step 1: Buy your tickets (it will sell out as space is limited)

Step 2: Invite your friends and get them to buy their tickets

Step 3: Pick out your best 80's attire (remember, totally crazy still isn't crazy enough and you'll want to look rad for the photographer)

Who's Your Doggy??

On April 17th, I stopped by The Lot on Washington for the "Who's Your Doggy?" fundraiser, benefiting Texas Hearing and Service Dogs. And boy, what a fundraiser it was! Charity Chicks Houston organized the pup-tacular event filled with specialty cocktails, treats (both and human and canine), and other party favors (my doxie is psychotically obsessed with his new pink frisbee). The icing on the cake: gorgeous, irresistible photos from Monkey Tree Photography. Enjoy...

Stella & Dot for BEARing Gifts

If you haven't heard of Stella & Dot, boy are you in for a treat! They are a company that offers a direct sales program (like Avon), with really amazing jewelry. No joke, I'd like to own just about everything in their catalog.

I don't know if you got the memo, but their Natasha Embroidered Bib Necklace is the hottest thing around town. If you are looking for one single accessory to invest in for those holiday parties, this is the one. It can glam up an LBD, LCD, or take a daytime outfit instantly to a swanky dinner. LOVE it.

This week only, through the lovely Charity Chicks of Houston, S&D are donating 10% of sales to BEARing Gifts. BEARing is an amazing project that provides holidays gifts for abused and neglected children who are currently in the care of Child Protective Services in Harris County.

If you visit the Stella & Dot shopping website this week, click on "can't make the trunk show" (it was last week) and enter hostess name "Jayme Lamm" for your donation to count. Wouldn't Mom, sister, grandma or daughter love knowing that their holiday gift helped out the little ones?

Save the Ta-ta's!

Yeah, that's right...I said ta-ta's. September is rolling to a close which means that it is time to kick off another wonderful Breast Cancer Awareness Month. What better way, than to save some Ta-ta's?? Right? Wanna know how?

The ultra cool and overall amazing Houston organization Charity Chicks, is throwing a swinging bash at the Bering and James Art Gallery on October 16th, to benefit the Save the Ta-ta's Foundation. Guests will sip cocktails, enjoy desserts, and check out the showcase of delightful BRA ART. So, what the heck is BRA ART? It's a unique themed bra decorated with love, hope and courage by groups or individuals raising money and awareness for breast cancer in our area. Seriously, how often do you get to see an artistic BRA display??

I've been chatting with Jayme Lamm of Charity Chicks, and through her, I have come to absolutely adore this organization.
"Charity Chicks is always looking for fun ways to raise money for all the great non-profits around the area. Save the Ta-tas has always been a fun brand to talk about and learn about a serious disease that affects so many women and their families every year. BRAtober 16 has been in planning for months and we are excited to Save the Ta-tas here in Houston!"

Yes Jayme, I too am excited about saving some ta-ta's! Tickets can be purchased at the Charity Chicks Website, and you can also RSVP on their facebook page. Oh yeah, don't forget to come dressed in PINK!
