Pink is Here to Stay

So you've probably seen mandarin orange splashed across the runways this season, but have you noticed that year after year pink is able to hold its own, and never falls out of style?

Don't get me wrong, we are completely mad for mandarin this Spring 2012, we just happen to have an extra special sweet spot for pinks here at Houston's Weekly Chic:) If you take a good a look around, you'll find that pink can be found this season in the likes of Marc Jacobs, Preen, Michael Kors, Oscar de le Renta, Jimmy Choo, Dana Rebecca, and Isabel Marant.

Christian Louboutin and B Brian Atwood have even come out with pink themed shoes (brilliant idea!). Definitely a splash of color that is always welcome in the warm Houston weather:)

STP Images Photography

Several weeks ago, I had a very toasty early morning Houston photoshoot with the delightful Todd Parker of STP Photography. I've been meaning to post these photos for weeks, and I am so excited to finally share them! For about the last year, Todd and I have been chatting about working together, and snapping some shots of me in one of my favorite shirts. My "It's okay to Love Houston" T-shirt from the Hello-Lucky boutique in the Heights. We had so much fun jumping from location to location, and dodging traffic on Westhimer:) We truly had a blast, and check out his amazing results....
