DSW, Dallas Shaw Style...

Happy 20th Anniversary DSW! If I was having a 20th anniversary, I would want Dallas Shaw to sketch some magic all over it too. DSW is smart, that is why they had Dal leave her mark on their limited edition anniversary totes. Too bad every single DSW in Houston is sold out of them. Thank goodness for the interwebs.

I'm Famous!!

Okay, not really. But my friend Dallas is, and that's why a photo of my office wall is featured in this month's Cleo Magazine (it's the one with the white stag)! The picture to the left of Sydney (that's my deer's name, yes I named him, don't judge me) is a Dallas Shaw print.

Spring Buzzz

I'm starting to feel a slight twinge of spring in our Houston air, which alway seems to result in a warm weather shopping spree. I think that spring fever is what inspired me to (finally) purchase one of Dallas' designer T's...and the fact that they are on sale. I love all of her designs, but her "bees knees" T draws me like a bee to honey...get it? It's a bee...eh, eh? Go here to see some of her other beauties.

Oh Deer...so much wrapping!

Instead of buying 20 different colors/patterns of wrapping paper this year like I normally do (with at least 30 different types of ribbon), I decided to pare down and simplify. After aimlessly wandering Michaels for 20 minutes, I bought:

• white craft paper
• brown craft paper
• raffia -just plain old naturally colored raffia

Still a little bit plain for my taste, so I bought some totally adorable gift tags from Dallas and VOILA...presents that look like they came out of a magazine. My friends and family are out of luck because I'm thinking about keeping them. I don't want the gifts inside, I just want to save them to decorate my house next year.
