After drooling over pieces on the Christina Greene website for the last couple of weeks, I finally got to see the entire line in person last Wednesday night at Haut Chocolat. I'm a huge fan of semi-precious stones, and with everything from chunky hammered cuffs to dainty turquoise drops, there is something to suit everyone's tastes. By the way, I'm also a huge fan of Christina herself (and she looked SO adorable in her new Charlotte dress from 81 Poppies)!

River Oaks Fashion Show 2011

On Feb. 23, more than 450 Houston fashionistas worked the red carpet at the second annual River Oaks Shopping Center Fashion Show! All ticket sales were donated to the American Heart Association, and when all was said and done, $13,000 was raised for the cause. Fashions from all of the finest River Oaks boutiques graced the runway, and of course my chic friends, we have to show you our favorites!

CENTER FASHION SHOW

Houston’s chicest ladies and gents will take to the red carpet for a showcase of spring’s hottest looks at the second annual River Oaks Shopping Center Fashion Show. Weingarten Realty Investors is underwriting the event, which allows all ticket sales to directly benefit the American Heart Association. First, attend the pre-show cocktail party in the lobby of River Oaks Theater at 6:30 p.m. with bites from La Griglia and signature drinks from Makers Mark. Then the runway show will launch at 7 p.m., with the latest trends from 310 Rosemont, Ann Taylor, Chicos, Em & Lee, Enticingly Chic, Haut Chocolat, La Mode Swim, LMD Boutique, Mia Bridal Couture, Rebecca & Drew, Twice New and more!

So whats the deal with the boutique after-parties? At the post-show soirees, attendees will shop ‘til they drop, while sipping on cocktails, indulging in hors d’oeuvres from River Oaks’ best restaurants and consulting with local beauty and style experts.
